Officers

Ron and Rosemary Blunck rent their home on Canvasback Drive, and have been members of the community for over 25 years. They live in Maryland and visit as frequently as possible, having joked that their car "knows the way to the beach" without any intervention from them.

Lorraine joined the Board as Vice President. She has owned her house in Carolina Dunes since 1991 and has vacationed on the Outer Banks with extended family and friends for over 30 years. She looks forward to helping keep Carolina Dunes the special community that we all love.

Christopher and his wife Julie are new homeowners in the community, having purchased a home on Widgeon in 2005. They rent their house through Southern Shores, and frequently visit their house in the fall and spring seasons. Chris has put together this website, and has asked for content volunteers so please send him anything you would like to have posted!

June and her husband Ron have lived in the community for several years. They have visited the Outer Banks for the past 30 years and have been active in the surrounding communities, especially the Town of Duck!

Charlie is a permanent resident of Carolina Dunes and lives at the corner of Buffell Head and Pintail. During the winter he spends time in California. Charlie maintains a very nice lawn and has been an active member in the Association since building his house in 1983.

Tom and Janis Dorsey built their home on Duck Road in 1999. In between rentals, they are frequent visitors, traveling from Charlotte, NC. Tom was a member of the Duck Civic Association's 2001 Finance Committee that helped document the case for of the Town.

Frank and Karen Evans rent their home on Canvasback Drive which they purchased in 2011. They live in Great Falls, VA, and travel to Duck with friends and family as often as they can get away.

Vicki and Joe Hatch have a long standing connection to the Carolina Dunes community. Joe’s parents built their house on Buffell Head in 1979. After a major rehab in 2005, they have rented their house from Memorial Day to Labor Day. They live in Virginia Beach and are frequently in Duck during the off season. Vicki was a mortgage banker for 25 years and now assists Joe in managing their commercial real estate.
